Senior Early Intervention Teacher
Alexa earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. On top of that, she is a licensed Psychometrician.
She has years of experience handling special needs students with different disabilities in a group setting and one-to-one intervention. After graduation, she trained and worked as a Behavioral Therapist using the Applied Behavioral Analysis Approach using Discrete Trial Training. Afterward, she worked as an Early Intervention Teacher in a group setting for ages 0-7 years old. Besides her teaching experience, she was a center supervisor of one of the special needs schools in Singapore. She supervised programs such as Student care (3-15 years old), Day Activity care (16-30 years old), and Special Needs Workers.
She firmly believes that collaboration between parents, educators, and therapists is essential for the child’s progress. In addition, a good foundation during the child’s early years creates a better pathway for their future.
