Senior Speech Therapist

Laavanya is licensed by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) in the United States. She is also a clinical supervisor registered with the AHPC in Singapore.

She brings a wealth of experience from her work in both Singapore and the United States, where she has supported a diverse range of infants, children, and adolescents in various settings, including schools and private clinics.

Laavanya’s extensive expertise spans across a wide range of diagnoses and therapeutic needs, including language and speech disorders, motor planning difficulties, literacy challenges, sensory and oral-motor feeding issues, and the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.

Laavanya’s collaborative approach to therapy stems from her experience working within transdisciplinary teams, where she gained a profound understanding of the importance of integrating multiple perspectives for comprehensive care. She advocates for naturalistic, child-centered practices that cater to each child’s unique needs. She also enjoys building relationships with families and caregivers, empowering them on their journeys with their children.
