Head of Programme (School Readiness Programme)

Mabel graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences. Before her graduation, she gained experience by volunteering and serving as an intern at various pediatric settings such as inclusive preschools and pediatric clinics, where she had the opportunity to work with children with different diagnoses such as Global Developmental Delay (GDD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

After her graduation in 2016, she worked for more than 4 years as an Early Intervention Teacher, where she specialized in supporting a diverse group of young learners with ASD in the development of their communication, sensory-motor, cognitive and social skills. She is also trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and has obtained Certificate in Autism and Higher Certificate in Autism.

She strongly believes that every child can and should be given the opportunity to learn and succeed, as well as the importance of injecting fun into sessions to keep young learners engaged and motivated to learn. She also believes in close collaboration with families and empowering them to feel confident in supporting their child’s development and learning.

Mabel is fluent in English and Mandarin.
