Parent and Educational training session
What training is available? Our Amazing team of knowledgeable and highly skilled therapists can deliver parent and educational training, on understanding and supporting your child’s communication and feeding development.
Who is parent training aimed for? Parent training is aimed for all parents including other caregivers: from parents of infants and children who have just received a diagnosis and want to understand more about it and what can be done to help your child in the best possible way. Parents of children with a long-standing diagnosis who want to refresh their knowledge and improve their skills of working with their children are also encouraged to attend.
Caregivers who spend the most time with your child are also encouraged to attend e.g. helpers, grandparents etc.
Who is educational training aimed for? Educational training is aimed for school staff who work with children with speech and language needs, developmental language disorders, language disorders associated with co-occurring disorders such as Autism, speech delays/disorders, social interaction difficulties and or staff members who wish to recognise red flags for when to refer to speech and language therapy.
