AMAZING SPEECH THERAPY is started from a simple dream from our founder Beatrice Teo. With a desire to break out of traditional speech therapy boundaries and a vision to INNOVATE and CREATE NEW POSSIBILITIES for those living with communication and swallowing difficulties, she started her private practice in April 2016. Over the years, we have expanded our team of dynamic and passionate specialist speech therapists who all believed in the same vision and to genuinely make a difference in someone’s lives.

What We Do

We provide diagnosis and treatment for speech, language, voice and swallowing difficulties. We serve clients across all ages, providing high quality personalised speech therapy sessions both in the clinic and at our clients’ homes. 

For clients who prefer online speech therapy, we help them focus on recovery through our digital platform at TeleHope.sg. With TeleHope, our clients have the flexibility to receive therapy on any device, anywhere at their convenience. 

Meet The Team



As a fully registered Speech Therapist under the Allied Health Professional Council in Singapore, Beatrice Teo has many years of experience working in National University Hospital (NUH) and Gleneagles Hospital before starting her private practice. 

Beatrice is a dedicated Speech Therapist who is passionate about helping her patients improve and recover. Driven by a determination to help her patients improve, Beatrice combines traditional therapy techniques with new evidence-based approaches to tailor the best treatment plan for her patients.  She treats all her patients genuinely and provides them with the best care. Beatrice is known to achieve success in even the most complex cases and is trusted by many renowned doctors and healthcare professionals.

Beatrice is also actively involved in giving talks to doctors, nurses and the public to raise awareness of the benefits of Speech Therapy. She also aims to inspire those living with speech and swallowing difficulties not to lose hope and helps them improve their quality of life.

Beatrice is a certified AHPC supervisor, thus she has trained many Speech Therapists to achieve their clinical competency in the past 9 years as a Speech Therapist.

Moona is from London and has been practising as a Speech Therapist for almost 10 years. She has been working in Singapore for 4 years and is a fully registered Speech Therapist as well as a clinical supervisor under the Allied Health Professional Council in Singapore. Moona graduated with a Masters’ degree from City, University of London.

Moona specialises in working with children with complex needs, trained in both communication and swallowing disorders. Moona has gained extensive knowledge and skills working with infants, children and adolescents with mild to severe disorders, including challenging behaviour.

She uses a holistic approach to achieve the best possible outcomes. Moona has worked with clients from multicultural backgrounds, is respectful and able to adapt accordingly.

Moona’s greatest hope is to develop innovative solutions to help as many clients (children and adults) to access proper Speech Therapy services, as well as raise awareness locally and internationally.

Qingwen is a registered Speech Therapist under the Allied Health Professional Council in Singapore. As a Speech Therapist also accredited under Speech Pathology Australia, Qingwen has several years of experience working in public and private hospitals and aged care facilities in Australia.

Upon returning home to Singapore, Qingwen taps on her knowledge from Australia and combines with her understanding of treatment for local clients, she develops a unique approach of therapy to maximize her client’s progress and quality of life. Qingwen finds significant personal satisfaction in delivering high-quality speech therapy services. She also has a passion for voice therapy and has successfully treated many patients with voice disorders such as vocal cord nodules and muscle tension dysphonia.

Qingwen’s cheerfulness and enthusiasm is a strong tool to motivate even the most difficult clients to participate well in therapy. Her therapy sessions are enjoyable, functional and effective. Qingwen works closely with family and other professionals to provide holistic care and support to help her clients reach their maximum potential.

Besides her love in clinical work, Qingwen has also been involved in speech therapy research projects, which enabled her to contribute back to the community through education sessions. She has also successfully guided and mentored newly graduated speech therapists.

Siti is a fully registered speech and language therapist and a clinical supervisor under the Allied Health Professional Council in Singapore and is also accredited under the Speech Pathology Australia.

In Australia, she had worked with children from birth to school-age children focusing on speech and language delay/disorders and stuttering. She worked mainly in community settings, schools, hospitals, and rural settings.

In Singapore, Siti’s work experience encompassed a diverse range of paediatric clinical experiences. She had worked in a voluntary welfare organisation and private therapy centre where she sees birth to school-age children with multiple medical conditions, childhood apraxia of speech, speech and language delay or disorder, autism, and global developmental delay.

Siti’s cheerful and bubbly character, and her passion to work with children allows her to build rapport easily with her clients. Siti’s passion and determination are also reflected in her efforts to go the extra mile for the child and support parents through this difficult journey.

Brenda is a fully registered Speech-Language Therapist and a clinical supervisor under the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Masters in Speech and Language Pathology.

She started her Speech Therapy journey in Singapore General Hospital (SGH) in 2015. In the acute hospital and rehabilitation setting, she acquired training in managing babies, children and adults with feeding, swallowing, speech, language, voice and cognitive impairments.

Brenda has worked with adult patients across a wide range of disciplines, such as Geriatric, Surgical, Oncology, Cardiology, Respiratory and Neurology. Her clinical experience also extends to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and High Dependency wards, where she was trained to evaluate preterm and term babies with bottling difficulties and potential swallowing disorders. She has also assessed babies with feeding difficulties by checking their oral-motor skills and possible sensitivities that impact their overall acceptance of food.

Brenda enjoys working and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic management for patients. She delights in sharing and imparting knowledge and clinical skills to new and junior Speech Therapists through clinical supervision and mentoring. Brenda also believes in empowering caregivers by educating them and providing info-counselling to facilitate rehabilitation and recovery of speech, language and swallowing impairments.

Isabel is a fully registered Speech Therapist as well as a clinical supervisor with the Allied Health Professional Council in Singapore. She graduated from the University of Sydney and is also accredited under Speech Pathology Australia.

Isabel is skilled in a mixed caseload of children and adults. She has years of experience working with adults with swallowing and communication difficulties in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and rehabilitation hospitals under Yishun Health Group. Isabel also has experience working with children with Autism, Global Developmental Delay and Speech and Language Delays/Disorders.

Isabel’s experience as a former Special Education teacher has given her an advantage in providing a holistic approach to managing her clients beyond Speech & Language Therapy. She is bubbly and has a ‘never say no’ attitude which has helped her achieve success in many clients. Isabel is passionate about combining evidence-based practice with client-centred goals in order to achieve optimal care and add the most value to her therapy.

Isabel is able to converse fluently in English, Mandarin and Malay which has helped her build rapport with many clients and their families in Singapore.

Deborah is a graduate of Curtin University in Western Australia. She is registered under the Allied Health Professionals Council in Singapore. In Australia, she had experience working with both adult and paediatric clients across various settings including hospital, school, community, and disability sectors. Her interests lie in the areas of paediatric speech and language, literacy and special needs.
Back in Singapore, Deborah also worked with children with Autism at Saint Andrews Autism Centre (SAAC) before joining Amazing Speech Therapy.

Deborah has a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based practice and working collaboratively with clients and their caregivers to empower them towards achieving their speech and communication goals. Having young children in her family,

Deborah has a special way of interacting with children and making her sessions fun and enjoyable which is important for the effectiveness of therapy.

Wanda is a fully registered Speech and Language Therapist with the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore. She also holds an Honours degree in Psychology and is a registered member of the British Psychological Society.

Born in Jakarta, Wanda is a global citizen who was educated and has worked in Singapore, Australia, and the UK. Prior to becoming a Speech and Language Therapist, Wanda was a behavioural therapist and shadow teacher for children with autism. In various capacities, she has experienced working with the paediatric population in different settings such as schools, private clinics, home therapies, and hospitals.

Wanda works with both children and adults with various difficulties. These include stuttering, speech sound disorders, language delays and disorders, apraxia of speech, selective mutism, social communication disorder, and feeding disorders. Regardless of age, Wanda tailors her sessions to meet the needs of every client. This ranges from working with other professionals to involving caregivers in therapy; ensuring that the most supportive environment is created for the clients she sees. Wanda has a genuine, caring personality that helps her build strong connections with her clients and their families. She is also fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, and is happy to conduct therapy in either language.

Shafiqah is a fully registered speech and language therapist under the Allied Health Professional Council in Singapore. She is a graduate of Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia.

In Australia, she has had experience with the paediatric and adult populations in a variety of settings including hospitals, residential aged care facilities, private practices and schools. She has also had experience as a support worker for families of children and adolescents with special needs and was a youth mentor to Australian Indigenous youths in Australia.

In Singapore, Shafiqah has worked with mainly children in the private practice and school settings. She has experience with children with difficulties such as language delays and disorders, social communication disorders, speech sound disorders, and stuttering.

Shafiqah has a gentle, genuine and caring nature that translates well to building rapport with families and clients. She is a strong advocate for evidence-based practice and takes a client-centred and holistic approach to therapy. She works collaboratively with her clients and their families to facilitate gains beyond therapy and to generalise skills to everyday life.

Sally completed her occupational therapy degree at the Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand) and is a fully registered occupational therapist with NZOT and AHPC Singapore. She has also completed her Master of Gerontology at SUSS (SG).

She has more than 8 years of working experience in different settings in Singapore.  Her breadth of posting includes but is not limited to Orthopaedics, Geriatrics, Neurology, Rehabilitation and Psychological Medicine. She also has experience working in the community in NZ with children and younger adults.

Sally views her experiences with different client groups have shaped her to provide client centred care, collaborating with families, caregivers and community partners to develop personalised plans to assist with their needs in the home, schools and community.

She also believes in the unique abilities of children with special needs helping them achieve functional tasks and explore their interests through therapy. Sally looks forward to making a difference in each and every one of the young people’s lives she touches.

As a former Allied Educator in an MOE school, Michelle is passionate about working with young children to overcome their difficulties and achieve their potential. Her teaching journey has enabled her to accumulate a vast experience of working with children of diverse behavioural and learning needs such as Autism, ADHD, Global Development Delay and Dyslexia.

Being familiar with the curriculum and demands of mainstream schools, she is able to help children bridge their learning gaps effectively. She is a strong believer that learning takes place during enjoyable experiences and her sessions aim to encourage curiosity, exploration and independence.

Michelle hopes to foster communities that would help children to grow in a safe and healthy environment. She works collaboratively with families and different stakeholders to provide a holistic approach in children’s developing years. She is able to converse fluently in English and Mandarin.

Veronica has extensive working experience spanning over 2 decades and is a valuable asset to the team at Amazing Speech Therapy to assist in administration and operation work.

Previously, she was part of the secretariat team of The Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) and was involved in the set up of the Council and the launch of the Allied Health Professions Act 2011. Veronica managed the general operation of the council and the registration process for Allied Health professionals such as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech Therapists. She also has good experience supporting the Speech Therapist Council Committee and enjoyed the good working relationships with all members.
