VRENDA DORAIRAJ

Speech Therapist

Vrenda is a fully registered Speech and Language Therapist with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) in Singapore. She holds a Master’s of Science in Speech and Language Pathology from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

With a background in both acute hospital settings and social service organisations, Vrenda has experience working with both children and adults. While she enjoys engaging with people across different life stages, her true passion lies in supporting children in developing their communication skills. She specializes in working with children with speech and language delays, including those with co-existing conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Global Developmental Delay (GDD). Additionally, she plays a key role in the Early Intervention Programme (EIP), collaborating with teachers and occupational therapists to enhance the children’s communication, social skills and overall development.

Vrenda is deeply committed to helping children find their voice. She believes that every child is unique, and therapy should be tailored to their individual strengths and needs. By creating a supportive and engaging environment, she ensures that learning is both meaningful and enjoyable for the child.

A strong advocate for family-centred care, Vrenda actively collaborates with parents and caregivers, recognising them as essential partners in their child’s progress. She empowers families with practical tools and strategies to support communication development in everyday life, ensuring lasting success beyond therapy sessions.
