JODIE POH
Speech Therapist
Jodie is a fully registered Speech and Language Therapist with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) in Singapore and is also accredited under Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). She earned her master’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Melbourne.
During her time in Australia, Jodie gained valuable experience working with adults and school-aged children across various settings such as hospitals, community clinics, rehabilitation centres and schools. In Singapore, she worked in an inclusive pre-school supporting the early intervention program (EIP), conducting individual therapy as well as social skills groups. Her experience lies in supporting children of neurodiverse backgrounds, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), global developmental delay (GDD), childhood apraxia of speech, as well as speech and language disorder/delays.
Jodie has a bubbly and fun-loving personality and is well-loved by her clients. Therapy sessions are kept fun through play-based intervention and her approach is tailored to every individual. Recognising the important role caregivers play, she involves them heavily throughout the therapeutic journey as family collaboration is key to success. When not reading up on the latest evidence or coming up with creative new ideas, Jodie enjoys being a plant-mum, dog-mum and searching for the best coffee in Singapore!
